In 2009 she graduated from the IFIM Ternopil National Economic University with the master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing. From 2008 to 2010 she worked as an accountant and later deputy chief accountant of PJSC “PJSC “Ukrainian design technological institute of the forest industry”.
She studied for her post graduate degree at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. In 2012 she defended her thesis for the degree of Ph.D. in Economics, specialty 08.00.09 – Accounting, analysis and audit (by types of economic activity). Title of the research: “Accounting and analysis of complex uses of raw materials for production of solid biofuel woodworking enterprises”.
Since April 2017, Maksimiv Y.V. is a member of the Supervisory Board of PJSC ” Ukrainian design technological institute of the forest industry”.
She is the author of more than 100 publications, including more than 85 scientific (monographs, articles and publications in international and national scientific conferences).

Yuliia Maksymiv carries out scientific research within the framework of the research work “Economic and legal mechanism of state policy of development of the market of solid biofuels of Ukraine” (funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine), as well as within the framework of the competitive project “Research of strategic potential of development of renewable energy on the basis of agriculture of Ukraine” (funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine).
She is a member of the editorial board of scientific journals, namely: Collection of scientific works “Socio-economic problems of the modern period of Ukraine”, included in the list of scientific professional editions of Ukraine in which the results of the dissertations for obtaining the scientific degrees of doctor and candidate of sciences in economics can be published, and “Journal of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University” (Executive Secretary of the Journal, Series Economics).
